Description
The Downtown Dubai New Year’s Eve show production surpassed previous global celebrations with a record 1.7 million visitor turnout. The event was simultaneously telecast via live satellite feed to over 1,000 international television channels, and live streamed to reach over 2 billion people.A large-scale celebratory event performance, which told the story of “the Center of Now”, UAE’s welcoming the world with open arms at this hour of the day… “Merhaba”.
A multitude of satellite stages, equipped with HD content video technology, was immersed within the Dubai Fountains. Specially designed performance areas, ensuring the record turnout and public had the full view of the entire show. A visually explosive video mapping along the length of the world’s tallest building (Burj Khalifa) and constructed 250 meters long and 12-meter-high video wall running along its façade also served as an interactive playground.
